Abreojos means "open eyes" in Spanish. I live on the tip of Baja California and Colorado before that.
2013 update. Had to go to work in the states since the crash of 2008. Speend my summers in ND working. Spring and summer in the southwest and winters home in Cabo. Got back into photography and am enjoying that far more than digital landscape programs for many reasons but mainly because it get me away from the computer and out in the world again!
Since I Started playing around with digital art several years ago and have created images I never thought I had the talent to create. I have learned from many great artist in this community since IÂ became a member IÂ believe back in 2002. Â Thanks for stopping by!

Beautiful landscape! It was a good idea to lighten the back side (our side) of that rock in order to see the petroglyphs. I probably would have gone a bit farther and made the "light" spread over more of the rock face, with some "natural" shadows left in. (Just mho ... it's all artistic interpretation, as we've discussed in the past!) The colors are glorious ... it's a wonderful picture!

Perfect exposure to show the nice textures in the sky and the backlighting is really striking! It took me a while before I noticed the petroglyphs on the rock - that really cool and adds a lot of interest to the image. Wonderful capture!!!
