Description

1 Of 2-Well today's car is one I'm sure you've never seen before because it's the only one in the world. This "81" Ford-Mustang T Top Prototype is really a fine ride, as I know the owner well. He told me he happen to be in the right place at the right time to buy this car so as you see he did. I was never big on this style Mustang but this one is special and I do like it. Ford should have built these in "81" I think they would have sold a ton. This is shot 1 passenger side of this ride so I hope you like and I'm sorry I'm late with this post as life has a way of changing things. Have a great day.

Cool Mustang... I had a 1980 Cobra Mustang with the 2.3 litre turbo charged Pinto engine. Had the TRX suspension... Sold it when I later bought the 60 Vette in 1983....

That front end looks pretty sharp Stan and I agree that Ford should have gone along with this design. You may shout in horror but I also kinda like the 1974-78 Mustang II. Ok it wasn't a huge Muscle car but with age it looks kinda cool :)

I bought a 79 Mustang new with a 5.0 V-8 engine with a 4 speed transmission. It was a pretty nice car drove real well and had tons of power. It could have used a bit better suspension as it started to float a bit at 100 mph at 120 mph it started to get scary. But other than that is was a nice ride.

Stan there are 3 of them in my street alone. They are common over here.............nah just kidding! I could imagine it featuring in a Knight Rider episode! I know what you mean when you say it's not your favorite style of Mustang, but still it's got a certain something eh. I will post a few mustangs for you in the coming days.
