Description

"The Prince of the Villains" is hurrying to a meeting nearby, escorted by his big guard "Oaktree". Things may seem quiet in the village, but the tension is just below the surface. Two local guardsmen are following the unlikely visitors with some attention - not exactly keeping a low profile on their homeground, they can't resist mocking the "dandy" looking prince a bit..." - This is of course not mainstream Vue work, but I really like making these historical/fantasy scenes with characters and hints of a story. Here I was also interested to see if Vue was able to pull this off - on my old 32 bit system Vue would struggle with the (great) village model alone, adding characters could be done only with caution and a great deal of planning and composite renders. On my 64 bit system this potentially heavy scene was swift to make and render, once the character setup was done (great deal of work in that dept. though). Many huge and detailed texture maps, lots of details - no problem :) Toolbox: Vue render, DAZ Studio, Photoshop. Items from DAZ, Cornucopia 3D and myself. Thanks for viewing, comments etc. welcome and appreciated. Have a nice day, Lars Previously: thumb_2426664.jpg

Wonderful scene! The cobbles look great! The wall to the left and some of the roof shingles would look a little more realistic with displacement. Other than that, it's very well done!

Great street scene and, as usual, excellent attention to detail. Great set of characters and extras.
