Description

Ron is a retired Master Boatbuilder, who has Parkinsons. He isn't as sad as he looks, and loves having the dogs on his knee. Buster likes the way that Ron's tremor gives him a constant massage. I was struck by this great expression, so isolated this portrait from the bigger picture, which you can see Here

Ron, with his piercing dark eyes, emanates a striking aura of orange in this fine foto, Andrea.

"a constant massage" Dogs can find the silver lining in just about anything. Outstanding character study. Wonderful watercolor effect.

Ron looks better in your post worked portrait than the real thing on FlickR. Also took a look at Ralph's upper lip - it makes me very angry when so called humans mistreat pets and other animals!

A fine expressionist portrait, though very sad. My mother had Parkinson's & it is a very debilitating disease, especially in the later stages...

superb postwork Andrea. I think I like this version better too, except Buster should be here too, LOL. Though I don't know how you could get him in this portrait!

When I viewed the thumbnails of Ron and Rita, right underneath each other, I felt there was a similarity or connection there, between the two ? amazing character studies, BB
