today cold, wet, gray sky, but I was out taking some pictures! pw: did some blue in because it was to gray ...;)

This is a very good photo showing how the bird back-beats its wings in order to "put on the brakes". This stops its foreward motion so it can land exactly where it wants to without overshooting the target. A lot of photographers miss this vital moment in landing. Keep up the good work! :-)

I totally agree with 'T.Rex' - but I just had another thought (a funny one!) ... maybe he is trying to shade his face, because he is already so very sun-burnt in the face ;)) ooops! ... but let's be serious now, this is a fabulous capture, Priska BB
