I love the mystery of this landscape as I try to piece together the reality behind the fantasy. The tree seems surrounded by a stream and yet the foreground looks like needles on snow. Where is the boundary between snow and stream? Are those bright orange branches a krumholz? Branches that have survived harsh winters by being buried in snow. Do you know the phenomena? I have recent pictures. I like how the lens makes it appear that the river flows up and over the ledge. Indeed this image shows many powerful mysteries.
