Description
Today a little story to go along with him:
He'd gone back to his house where he left her waiting, only to find she'd gone back to that ruin of a castle she called 'home' and the vampire clan. He'd risked everything and given up his very life to save her from the madness of her father...and her mother. They'd both been cured of that terrible curse, but evidently she felt more 'at home' there. To say he felt just a little betrayed was an understatement. There were other things on his plate that made being a vampire - even for her sake - an impossibility at the end of the day.
Then so be it. It was dangerous to be in his company anyway. He'd sooner she was there where she was safe, he supposed. There were at least four different groups of people now, who wanted him dead, at any cost. Failure was not an option their orders read, but so far he was still alive and those they'd sent after him weren't. There were spies everywhere, watching him...when they could find him. People who looked just like eveyone else. He'd learned to trust no one now.
This thing that he was - 'dragon-blooded' - was a curse more than a blessing it seemed. Before he'd known about it, he'd been a thief and a self-appointed waster of bandits, necromancers and others who harassed the common folk along the roads. He was the best they'd ever seen, they said. He had more gold than most of the jarls and three houses, but he couldn't truly enjoy any of these things...not when he was a hunted man. It was true what they said about gold. It couldn't buy you happiness, but it could buy you a lot of other things.

first when i saw his eyes i thought he had a slight liver disease (lol),now i understand its the dragon blood.. creepy feeling when you know almost everybody else wants you dead. life s a warzone buddy.
