Vrksasana by KatesFriend

Hello again my Renderosity friends. It's been quite some time since I've produced an entry to my harry-cn Yoga series. So today, I present the "tree pose" as depicted by Neomea's Natania for V3. This position is supposed to be beneficial for strengthening the legs and feet as well as helping the practitioner develop coordination and calmness. Metaphorically it is said that Vrksasana aids one to spiritually connect or reconnect one with the Earth - 'sic aiunt'.
This rendering is another example of importing Poser characters into Vue. I do this by creating a Poser .pz3 file containing only the elements one wishes to bring into the Vue environment - Natania, her leotard, her ring and hair. Posing and texturing details are setup in Poser, then saved prior to import into Vue. This particular import was fairly minimal (less than 127 individual textures) so I could maintain all elements in one .pz3 file. This time however, I selected the import option allowing my Poser programme to manage the texturing of imported elements during Vue rendering. Normally Vue performs an interpretation of imported Poser sourced textures, this does not always work well. But as this was a rather "simple" rendering detail wise, I could afford the additional memory and processing overhead of including Poser as part of the Vue rendering. In more complex renderings, like 'The Forgotten Pathway' this is not normally possible as Vue tends to crash under such circumstances - though not always. In this case most everything worked right. Except for Natania's silver ring (originally a purity ring but she had it re-lasered to say 'PEACE' instead - that's my story and I'm sticking to it - snicker!) which came out looking like white plastic. This one element thus required applying a Vue stock material (polished silver) as opposed to relying upon Poser to handle it. This glitch might have something to do with the use of Poser reflection nodes - I use them to simulate silver textures in Poser. Further research is required. Have a great weekend! Sorry, no nudity. But that was Natania's call, so blame her.
