Description

And there stood a lonely chair, in a lonely place overlooking a lonely valley. How many tears have dropped at your base?

It's funny how a part of that valley looks like an impact crater. (I'm weird in that I'm always seeing things like that!) This shot reminds me of so many moods I've experienced over the years: not sad or lonely moods, but definitely solitary and contemplative ones. This image captures that perfectly. I love that lone bench providing an amazing panoramic view. The composition is superb. The mood is amazing. The dusty green tones, fading into vaguely foggy, vague-blue in the distance all work marvelously against the texture of the rocks. This is super! I'm glad I saw it.

That looks like a nice place to sit down and relax. Very nice capture.

Oh Ray - how marvelous. Perfect composition and the lone bench adds the moody touch. A stellar view and image!

I could sit there happily for a good long while. What a beautiful view!
