Description

A friend of mine had just downloaded the demo version of Vue, and was asking me help on how to make good looking dunes. Well, to help him the best, I jumped into Vue and started to make my own, as I had never attempted it before. I've always loved large sandy dune deserts, so I decided to keep what I made and place a couple of 'Mechs in it. And walla, here we are. 'Mech models (Daishi/DireWolf, and MadCat Mark II) are both made by Zakua and based off the designs in MechWarrior4. All dust/blowing sand was done in Photoshop. Very realistic dunes, how are they done with a greyscale image?

I simply used the "Dunes" setting in the Vue terrain editor. Well I did a little more than that but that's basically what I did.
