Description

for those who do not like the culvert, here is another shot of a sunrise, taken on the 17th of April Mom is visiting her oldest son in California so Dad and I are on our own - we are doing okay but we miss Mom. (She's having a great time in warm weather and a pool) Listening to a playlist of Manowar, Type O Negative, Nickelback and Rammstein - odd mix, but it relaxes me...

Now THIS is BEAUTIFUL Mike! One of your best IMO. This could be a calendar picture Mike. I like it much better with the culvert cropped out. : )

Glad your mom is enjoying herself. Can't decide which one I like the best, normally this one, but I need to take another look at the other one.

A fantastic and evocative photo. Yes, you only realize how much one has lost his loved ones when they are not there. My husband is also in rehab, so I can understand your feeling good. At least your mom has enough sun ... Very nicely done!

Finally! Someone who gets it. Marilyn Manson is--occasionally--my choice for relaxation. Cool image. I love the mood this has and the way those pilings look a bit like the bones of some large creature...well...the fossilized bits of the aforementioned large creature. This has a nicely otherworldly vibe to it: not like some far away alien place, but like the parts of this world that we simply forget to see. Far away works like that sometimes. It's weird, ain't it? I really like this image.
