Description

Bryce7.1Pro/DazStudio/Photoscape3.5/Photoshop This image came about as a result of putting together some Daz items I have had for ages and never used...the result is a fantasy image of a mammoth-like elephant in a Palace Zoo and it's assigned caretaker. Figure is Aiko3 with an International Beauty skin mat and Desolation Earth-Nomads outfit.Mammoth is also from Daz3D,as are the palm tree and leaves(Predatron),and the bucket(Days Of Cider,also from Predatron)...a round 2D panel was added to the bucket,with a water material applied. The ground plane texture is a photo from CGTextures that I made tileable,with displacement applied.Sky,light and atmo are all custom..sky used as IBL. Rendered in Premium with soft shadows and DOF added. Postwork involved a deep bloom effect and levels adjustment in Photoscape,and signature and resizing in Photoshop. I like the blurring effect of the hanging palm fronds too close to the camera lens to be in focus, which is just one element (of the work you've put into this) which lends to the sense and feel of a natural, highly realistic scene. Extraordinarily well done. 5+

Wonderful image. The sad thing is, if they keep poachin ivory, the only elephants left will be in zoos. With the new advances in cloning, maybe they'll be able to keep elephants around.
