My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Very cool capture of the shadow world of furniture...

I like the elegance of this shot and the way the sunlight catches on the woven backs (and seats) of these chairs! What a place to sit and enjoy a drink or a fruit salad! Sometimes I think that shadows are more interesting than the things that cast them, and in this case, shadow and source are so intimately linked. I love the muted color sense as well...there's a lot to be said for subtlety. This rocks!

The kidney-shaped shadows of the furniture, on the concrete floor are a work of art in itself ... and looking at that view, there is not a great deal to be said - I am speechless, it has that WOW factor! BB

Agreed! Those shadows are oddly interesting. Cool shapes. I see a large fish on the left and two smaller floaters on the right. Great capture.

Not so much shadows but patterns embedded into the deck. Surprisingly compelling. Excellent capture.

Very nice Tara. At first I thought this was selective color but then I began seeing what you were seeing!

Shadows are a whole genre all on their own; a person could get seriously distracted by them...these are really outstanding in their field!
