Not all species that evolve to sentience are Humanoid, case in point: The Cephaloian. Their world is comprised of 88 percent water and sparse islands teaming with forests. No sentient mammals exist on their world and oddly no other sentient aquatic life exists. Cephaloian require aquatic suits to travel off world, their ships are massive vessels that are filled with water from their home world. They excel in the fields of water purification and recycling. Like many Cephalopods they can alter their color and texture and often do so based on their emotional state. They can eject ink defensively and have barbed tentacles capable of shredding steel. They are all psionically endowed and every member of the species have the following powers: Levitate (Unlimited duration), Translate (can communicate with any sentient species), Telekinesis, and Psionic Auto-defense. Cephaloians also have an air of arrogance which is believed to be attributed to their high intellect (IQ of 245 on average), it is said that a Cephaloian with an IQ of under 185 is considered to be mentally challenged. They are members of IGFW and hold several important positions on the IGFW senate and Many high profile science fields.
