One of my best friends is Welsh, and whenever I see her (which isn't often) I manage to convince her to say: "Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch' and she turns around and convinces me to say "Chicago" with a Chicago accent. I generally do that, because if I say "Chicago" with a Chicago accent, she giggles. It's funny when she giggles. Her giggles are infectious. Everyone around her (including strangers) starts giggling. Ah...Friends! The things we make each other do! I'll get to Wales to visit her, one of these days. As for this shot. It's marvelous. I love the colors, I love the overall mood, and I love that this single photo has given me an excuse to type the name: "Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch" with impunity. I can't actually say it without reading it, but hey...it's so much fun to type it. I like this image a lot. It's quite beautiful, and it reminds me of my friend Beth, giggling.

LOL! I guess there aren't too many succinct people in Wales, not with a language like that. What a great capture of this memorable church!
