WARZ an Introduction. About a month ago I realized that I had quite a bit of never used 3d content mostly vehicles and such. So I sat down and built several different armies based on designs and characteristics of the vehicles so I would have four main factions and a few smaller ones. The first faction army is the Corporation this is a corporate government run paramilitary group basically the ones in charge and well supplied and armed most up to date. Second is the Walkers Army all of there vehicles are in the steam punk style and use no wheels. They use some ground and air drones and hot air balloon type fliers. Third is the Rebels this is the traditionally armed group military vehicles that we are used to seeing M1 Tanks, M3 Bradley and some old school future vehicles Aliens APC and battle tech like Mechs. Fourth is the Alien space based and no tracked or wheeled vehicles most likely several different types of aliens races make up this group from robotic cyber types to lizard men. Then there are the off shoot factions using the different franchises from Warhammer40K Space Marines to the Star Wars vehicles. The idea is to make scenes with these different factions fighting each other from small camp scenes to full scale land battles with huge war machines and such. I will try to flesh out the armies back history and ideology as time goes on but that is in the future. Others are welcome to do the same I would like to keep the armies close to the guidelines. But all is possible it is just a way to open up some new ideas for images and should give a good enough variety but with an overall theme So with no further ado I give to you the first in I hope a long running series. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ This one is entitled: WARZ: Ambush! This is a squad of Corporate Soldiers on patrol setting an ambush for a Giraffe Tank of the Walker Faction. (The Corporates refer to the walkers by what animal the vehicle most resembles) Each Corporate squad generally has 5 soldiers all of their soldiers are well trained and very loyal. These are well paid contracted mercenaries so they can be bought, but not cheaply. Each one is knowledgeable and cross trained in all combat skills and can easily replace each other in times of need. They are a very cohesive unit and not easily broken. Their weakness is they are not equipped for long times without outside support and or re-supply and do not do well in extended times in the field due to there reliability on so much high tech equipment. hope you enjoy and let me know what you think if you make an image that would go with this theme please sitemail me and I will mention the link in my next upload.
