Description

[Please zoom to see details] This is my take on the character in the new scifi series "Defiance". She is the adopted alien daughter of main character Joshua Nolan. But she is not just a foil / sidekick, as tonight's episode showed: There is more going on with her than meets the eye. This is a wonderful, complex character brilliantly portrayed by actress Stephanie Leonidas. This is a great show, the writing is superb and they're in the process of properly fleshing out all the characters. I think this one might be a hit, one of the best since "Firefly" IMNSHO. Only three episodes so far, easy to catch up on the story line... Artists here should check it out: Many of the static scenes and animations are CG, with tthe actors filming in "green screen" and the backgrounds added digitally later. All of the graphics / animations have been superb with one notable exception: The vehicle scenes look too much like a "video game", I don't think they have the physics correct on this one yet. I'm not really that good of a dial-spinner, but I hope you like her. Maybe I'll try Nolan next...

Brilliant! Great likeness. I haven't seen an episode yet, but I saw the introduction/prologue before the first episode aired. You did a great job of recreating her. Great render too.
