Description

M3 (on loan to the Metropolitan Police): Hey bud - those three bots have just nicked your pushbike! M4: Um, yes, I have noticed. M3: Aren't we going to arrest them? M4: Now not too hasty, lad - some of these bots can get downright nasty - and that one with the blue hair hacked my shin last week when I asked her why she wasn't at work - and gave me a mouthful of cheek! M3: But your bike - M4: And of course they might count as juveniles and then people will start going on about the police bullying kiddies, or, since they are robots, we'll be accused of always picking on non-humans. You can't go arresting them without a damn good reason; and you have to have a special cell, can't mix the human criminals with the non-human, you know, human rights and all that. M3: Yes, but - M4: And there's always the chance they're military bots in disguise - and then they'll be armed, won't they? M3: So what do we do? M4: If you didn't see them, then I didn't either.
