Description

Dipsacus fullonum On Iford meadows, a reclaimed tip in Bournemouth. They look wonderful here, but I HATE them in my garden. I once foolishly planted some in the hope of attracting Goldfinches: no show from the birds, but masses of scratches and rashes from the plants which I can't seem to eradicate.

AWW! yes, that was a mistake Andrea, but the dry ones are really pretty for Christmas, sprayed with gold, but we need leather gloves to touch them :) And this shot is very lovely.
