Description
Lexington is moored near an island. Time for relax.
The great Grumman FF is from Pedro Caparros.
I rebuild my Lexington. Now the portholes are cut out and I added some more details like belt armor, crane and screws. I made a mistake before. I modelled more like Saratoga. Now modell resembles 100% Lexington and Saratoga will follow these days in the store. For all buyers this new version will be ready for download as soon as the Renderosity support changes the files (they need some time). Now it is in the Collada and OBJ formats (3ds is too old and has too many restrictions). Please wait with download till you see lexington1938-col.zip or lexington1938-obj.zip file for download. This new model is the point from where I make the Lexington of 1942 that will follow in the next weeks or months and then Saratoga of 1943 to 1945.

Looks terrific! Very nice job. The crew on the deck is a great touch, and I really like the launches.

An old ship, it looks so venerable and beautiful as the classic biplanes. Thanks for the mention.
