OK. I lied. I'm not in bed yet. (See my last comment.) This is magical. I would love to walk along this beach, and I also agree with Andrea and Tara...this piece and his sister would be perfect, hanging together. Preferably on a gallery wall, where people speak in whispers and wear black turtle necks and say lots of things with big words. Well...maybe not. This is an open and "vast" image, but it's very intimate! I love the mood and the colors are so rich! So vivid! So alive, and I love the bumps and the canvas pattern that adds something exciting; I think it takes you out of the landscape, but keeps you inside of the artist's eyes. That's always th effect that paintings like this have for me. For a little moment, it's like you can be inside of the artist, looking out. Hmmm...does that make any sense? Anyway, I love this! It and its companion are going into my favorites!

Marvelous companion to your previous painting with again such wonderful colors. I love the way the sea meets the sand and the shades of green orange and red on the land. It wonderful to see both directions. Beautiful paintings!
