Description

Another chimney from the roof of Gaudi's Casa Mila, this one a mosaic composed of hundreds of pieces. I wasn't planning to post this many photos of Barcelona, but in going through my photo archives, I've been finding some worthwhile material to share (at least I hope they're worthwhile to some of you). Barcelona is a treasure trove of creative architecture & I think I have just a few more to post...

Antoni Gaudí´s 3D, natural flowing forms must have been a mosaic craftsmans nightmare. But as we can see they put the icing on the cake!!!

I love the look this has, as if the potter's finger marks were the creation of the shape. A lovely thing! Barcelona has been on my list for a while, so I'm happy to see as much from there as you care to post!
