Description

I was pretty happy when I saw this image first - capturing 5 gulls in one shot all in a different form of movement - Flying - Hovering - Landing - Walking - Standing. Shot in Namibia in Feb 2012. Thank you for dropping by and for your much appreciated comments and favs on my last upload "7".

Oh, what gull it took to post this shot. Sorry: sorry, I get seized by the world's most awful, groan-inducing puns and I just have to let them out. And now that I've gone into (and returned from) bad pun territory (somewhat unscathed it seems) I will just say that this is a brilliant, magical shot. Gulls are such elegant birds, such wonders. I love the way they strut, and their songs are so mournful, but somehow everything but sad. This is brilliant work!
