Beautiful image! I like the overall atmosphere, which is like an aquarium with the floor having a look of sand and the light seeming diffused like in water. It is a bit surreal in that respect. I am a little bothered by her sleeves. Her right sleeve seems to be made of a stiff fabric, while her left doesn't. I have never done poser or any kind of rendering, so I do not know how difficult it is to show the effects of gravity on fabric. I like her skin tones and shading very much.

The only thing that really bothers me is the "Should I get the central character to establish eye contact with the viewer or not?" If I don't I think the image will have less effect!

Another beautiful image!!! I agree with you that only great comments don't help us see the flaws that others see. One of the things I struggle with when making critical comments is that I don't really know what the artist had in mind or wanted to achieve with the image. With that in mind, using some DOF to give a slight blur effect to the background might help a bit. But this is only useful if you want to make the figure stand out more so the the viewer automatically focuses on it. Keep up the great work!!!

There is a mystery because we can't know what kind of creature is behind the glass !! That comes in contrast with the whole scene which appears very simple ! I think this contrast makes all the interest of the scene !! A well rendered mysterious scene !!!
