Description
A view of the Sagrada Familia from the inside. Hopefully, my photo conveys both a sense of the immense scale of this building & it's imaginative design. When completed, it will be the tallest church in the world at 170 meters. By comparison, Notre Dame in Paris, which I always considered to be a very large & impressive structure, is only 90 meters tall...

Gaudi was either a genius or totaly insane. The Sagrada Familia is totaly mind blowing. Unfortunatly as I was there I only had a small pocket camera with me, but its one of my "things to do" before I die to spend days in this building taking pics.

I understand it was his intention to give this place an organic feel, and looking at your photograph I think he accomplished that! It seems like huge trees are holding up the roof. Beautiful!
