Here sits the Dummy in his ivory throne,
never knowing his thoughts aren't his own.
And here is the Ventriloquist, partially shown.
The power behind the Dummy's dome.
But what of our dummy's benefactor?
Is he too just another pawn?
This powerful, behind the scenes actor.
Is his voice also on loan?
And here's a thought just as obnoxious:
Keep it in mind as you roam.
Perhaps the Ventriloquist is just our subconcious.
We all have lights on, but nobody's home.Â

This girl is very provocative and her pose is sexy! both images are nice but I prefer the right one !

nice work on both ......... like you I am not 100% sold on reality , I find there are aspects to both which I like however ......

One on the right for me as the shadows and materials are better. If you use the Reality plugin you can preview and tweak the materials and other parameters. With the Luxus plugin you cannot.

Very well done.

the comparison is stark... nice work.

I prefer the one on the right because of the warmer tones and better shadows. Nice composition and posing.

Hard for me to decide. The one on the left looks like it was done mid-day and the one on the right mid-afternoon. Big difference in time and mood of the picture. The chrome looks better on the 3Delight, but the reflections are better on the Lux. Skin tones reflect the overall suggested times above. The Lux side tends to show more detail and ambience (like the base of the gauge cluster). Both are great compositions, (doesn't help, huh). If both are with the same settings (lights, etc), can the yellow tone be scaled down in Lux? On the Lux side it appears her skin is also reflective (handle bars on the right leg). I recognize it as I (unfortunately) have seen my handlebars from that POV.

You did very lovely pic!

I gave Lux a try too but..... The time for rendering is not acceptable. Great pics, btw.

Yeah, this is a tough one. I love both renders for different reasons. As somebody mentioned the, mid-day vs afternoon warmer sun look. I have only ever used 1 program (Daz then Reality to bring it into Lux Render) I think its because I get so frustrated trying to learn the new program, I give up. ;-) I would say use your ability to use 2 programs to suit your needs. Great job on both.
