Today is 10 years since my Mom went to heaven. I still miss her every single day.

A wonderful and loving tribute, I'm sure she would be proud. The rose is very symbolic, in my garden a rose was planted in memory of my mother... it remains today. I think it's an important reminder for any teenagers out there giving their mum and dad a hard time, there will be a day come when you lose them, let there only be kind memories between you.. time is fleeting and it can be gone in the blink of an eye.

my biological mother loved roses as does my step-mom; Virginia (biological) passed away January 2000. some memories never fade..... Very beautiful tribute

Am currently trying to buy a bungalow with my Dad for him to live in; he's 80 in August and currently rentin at a stpid ££££ fee. He drives me up the wall sometimes but will be a long time gone, so I want to do my best for him, as he did for me (though I totally failed to appreciate it at the time like most sons!). He texted me the other day to say my grandad would have been 107 today... I guess you never quite get over your parents passing. Once he's settled I shall try and sort my Mum out; that will be more of a battle I think. May need to get the bailiffs in to shift her somewhere suitable :) I will miss them both deeply when they are gone. Lovely image. Steve
