Description
Bit soggy outside this morning.. so cribbed a couple of hours on the PC....but now the sun is out.. have to go mow the lawn's!.
Here we have Nationale's Lotus Seven in typical colours.. Lotus Green with a Yellow nose. Back in the late 60's early 70's, the Seven was about as close as a mere mortal could get to a road going Formula One car in terms of acceleration and particularly handling..bit of a rocket ship :o)... even today it is still a quick car... Would love one for a sunny Sunday 'blat' out to Ardmore and back!

I always wanted an e type Jag but never came near owning one! These little Lotus's used to be used a lot on hill trials. Colin Chapman was one of my all time heroes. Excellent picture by the way Martin.

Fantastic Martin! As you point out these were a real rocket in their day and as close as you could get to flying without leaving the ground. Track days changed forever once these came out.
