I have been using RR for 5 years now and have had my eyes opened to the wonderful artistic talents of you all. I never realised there were so many visual art forms.I have always enjoyed taking photographs simply for my own pleasure and as a marker for events in my life.  I have bought a Nikon D40 DSLR & a Panasonic TZ6, I am very much an amateur. I need to go on a course to understand how to use a digital camera properly as I have real difficulties other than point and shoot.I will post my photographs and hope that some of you will find them pleasant but please remember I am a simple soul!Thank you to those of you who make comments, all are greatly appreciated.  I love looking at your galleries for inspiration. One member has recently used one of my shots from 2008 as a shot produced by him. Whilst I am an amateur, I take things like this seriously (2013) and have now managed to have it removed from his gallery and will do so if anyone else does the same. I wouldn't dream of copyright breaches so cannot understand why someone would do it to me. He has also now uploaded it on the site Art Wanted.com. Alas their moderators are not as responsible and helpful as those on this site. I have 2 exotic cats, Foggy and Boris. I adore my cats.  I am quite sure I will end up as a mad old spinster of a cat woman and do I mind? Nope.Thank you for your support

Susan: Oh no, I am very sad to read of the passing of Boris. He was a great cat. In your gried I share these words with you. Everything is part of the cosmic energy flow of the universe. We materialize out of that energy flow for a while, live what we call life, die, and then we become part of the big cosmic flow again. But even while that clump of cosmic matter materializes into beings, into us, into all the elements that constitute the world, our friends, family, pets, the trees and flowers we are all still a part of the big flow – just in material form. Since it is all part of the same thing, the same omnipresent being, it is all connected and it is always connected – both through space and through time. So even in death, when that part of our physical being dematerializes, it is still connected to those who are living. Those who are now gone are still a part of us, as we are a part of them. For some 11 years a part of that cosmic energy materialized as a beautiful furry little four-legged being that you called Boris. For 11 years that bit of energy shared your physical space and taught you love. Then he went back to join the big flow – the big flow that even now still includes you. He will always be a part of you because he has always been a part of you. That cosmic flow is love; the Gods put pets on this earth to teach us about love. And that love is forever. Blessed be Roxy

It saddens me to no end, Susan. I always loved Boris the way it is possible from a distance. He was so cute and special. I can image what kind of hole he has left. Best wishes.

I have been away for a while and just today my husband and I were laughing at the adventures of Boris so I had to look you up and see what great adventures hes on..... I am so heartbroken to hear of your loss, I only wish that I had found out of the news earlier. My Tigger is like my little boy and never ceases to bring a smile to my face. I cant imagine life without him and I ache for your loss and pain!!!
