Description
here is my next practise with ink pens.
There are many myth all over the world of the fire spirits living in volcanoes. They range from the dwarf smith image of European myth over the goddess Pele and her siblings of Hawai to the giant Gomuls of Kamtschatka, who facinate me most. It is said among the tribes there, that at night the Gomuls shoot up from the craters to hunt whales, which they spit on their talons and fry over the crater fire. People are very affraight to approach the carters, but they say that whoever went there would then find all the gnawed of and carred whalebones there.

You do capture the horror and dark power of the beast. The choice to use bold power colors supported on a pure black background root the composition in dark earth power even if you drew nothing sensible. The spiral makes it seem the creature is spinning up to you and the angry look says it is not to be messed with and is dangerous. A lot of thoughtful symbolism at play here.
