Erzulie bay ou kado a ki rive jiska Wake-li! pousyè. Louvri je ou. Louvri yo! Al gade nan tout bagay ... tout bagay. Pa jis gade. Al gade nan! Men, ou pa t 'koute Erzulie. Denmen, ap dòmi ankò ou yo pral. Pa blame Erzulie si ou reveye finalman nan yon kochma!
Erzulie gives to you the gift of her Wake-Up! dust. Open your eyes. Open them! See everything...everything. Do not just look. See! But you will not listen to Erzulie. Tomorrow, asleep again you will be. Do not blame Erzulie if you wake finally in a nightmare!

Been working on poses most of the day @-} This is more or less one of them, modified for this scene. It's been a very nice but weird and creepy day.
I hope the Creole doesn't get jacked up when I post this and turn into a lot of gobbledy gook!

Outstanding image and cool narrative. Since I've no experience with Creole, I couldn't tell you if it was jacked or not. but what I read sure sounded impressive.... I would think that a photographer or painter would be the closest to having their 'eyes' open to see, as we're always on the lookout for the next great sighting to capture, either on canvas or chip/film.

No, it didn't get jacked up. As long as I don't touch it, I think all the accent marks, etc will stay put. It's basically pidgin French. 'Denman' = demain = tomorrow. 'Ou' = vous = you. 'Kochma' = couchemar = nightmare. 'Louvri' = louvrez = open, etc. So, you can see they are similar in many ways. Sometimes things are right in front of us and we don't see them. But yes, artists are more inclined to have their eyes open.

Happy mothersday. Yes I agree, people think , they see everything, there are many tests to prove the contrary. Good looking and observing is an art! For example, the artists have learned to see in a different way and so they know that reality is plural. It's nice Erzulie wants to indicate us on this phenomenon, just like you with your fantastic image, hon. Gr.Rudy.
