Even the Wee Folk love the little Trout Lilies.

The idea for this came from neoexcello's comment on the previous post of the trout lily, thanks d'N!!
When we got to the Hollow, the trout lilies were done blooming and the violets were in full bloom, everywhere! And the Dandelions, Oh the Dandelions! The Hollow has the biggest, most gorgeous Dandelions you have ever seen! The Trillium are almost done with their bloom.
We had a couple of beautiful days and the cooler weather and the rains moved in. Temps have fallen down to what feels like winter, and it will hit freezing tonight. Sigh, where oh where did Spring go?
I'm going to try to catch up slowly, but will just stop and see the newest stuff first, then I'll look at all I've missed.

I have a lot of catching up to do and this is a great place to start. I love the blending here, the playful mood of this image, and the wonderful sense of maintained realism. This is great. Now, as for weather here (as well as there) something odd his happening. The temperature extremes in Chicago are amazing...spring arrives for a few hours, only to drop into a massive, bone-snapping chill, just before a heat-wave that will probably precede a snowstorm.
