Description
Another favorite critter of mine. They are so gentle you can stroke their backs when they are feeding (weird I know - but what can you expect from a trained naturalist/biologist?) Just don't run a lawn mower over their underground hive! Did that just once, never again - they go from pussycat to tiger!

Superb and very neat microcapture. It's difficult to photograph the bumblebees, because they are rapidly changing of flower!
