I'm really quite pleased with how this one turned out, partly because I had a 'clever' idea that actually worked. Here it is... All MATs in this scene are the default MATs that shipped with the product except for V4, as indicated below, and, the Boudoir Lamp... The lamp is the bit I really like in the picture. The glowing bulbs, shadows and highlights are straight out of Poser. So, on the lamp I changed the transparency on the shade, so that it would be possible to see the bulb glowing, and added a subsurface scattering (SSS) node on the bulb. (Theory - The SSS node allows light to interact with the surface of an object, see the 'light shining through a hand' picture on the SmithMicro website.) I then put a point light inside of each bulb. ... and waited for it to render. :) PS Thank you to everyone who left comments and viewed my last picture. PPS I'd love to do a tutorial for the lights if anyone is interested or there isn't already one. Please let me know?
