Description

full size to see it better the Big Boy is the only locomotive left at the former museum and soon will make the journey to it's new home. yesterday I stopped at the museum and seen the other large locomotive was parked outside of the old yard. I took some pictures then I left after eating breakfast to go to Weatherford and Mineral Wells Texas west of Fort Worth I took many pictures of interesting things of which I will be sharing starting today. I never opened poser yesterday later I stopped again at the old museum and they were working, towing the locomotive outside with the Santa Fe Chief making sure that the wheels will not seize I took several videos of it moving. as soon as I can figure out, I will load some to u-tube and share the links here

I love this engine. I wanted to build this in bryce after my efforts with the Flying Scotsman, but was defeated by time and Bryce's limations. Great photo. I would love to see more!

Nothing beats the sound of the steam building and the puffing as the wheels slowly start to move! Great memories.
