Description
This is the result of several days of tinkering with clothing for my female Genesis character. Sadly, when you mix Basic Female, V5, and legacy V4/S4 morphs, AutoFit doesn't do so well (at least, not via DSON), especially with blouses/shirts/tops.
The most important thing I wanted was a decent-fitting tank top. So, I dusted off an old V4 dynamic top set, did a cloth simulation with the figure at zero pose, polished the result off with a bit of custom morphing, and exported the final mesh. I then used Daz's CR2 Exporter to export a Genesis figure morphed to 50% Basic Female and 50% V5 (the only two morphs needed to create the same proportions/joints as my target character). Finally, back in Poser, I transferred the rigging from the exported figure to the tank top mesh I'd exported before, and voila! It's not perfect (raising the arms above the head still causes some pokethrough in the straps), but it's far better than the nothing I've been dealing with until now.
I like looking at the nude female form as much as the next guy, but at some point, you have to clothe the poor girl, LOL! I don't want to be relegated to pin-ups (though those can be fun XD).
The pants are the new JeanZ for Genesis, which fit remarkably well out-of-box. The overshirt is dynamic and originally made for V4.
