Description

Bryce7.1Pro/DazStudio/Photoshop Hidden within the foliage at the end of the garden it stirs, the first warm rays of morning starting to burn off the layer of fog,and begin the recharging process as they hit the photoelectric "skin" of the droid. Yes,that familiar shape of a caterpillar is,in fact,a scout droid...sent to infiltrate the vegetation surrounding human habitation and gather intel, all the while avoiding suspicion in a form that none would think twice upon when viewed among the vines and shrubbery. Droidcaterpillar is my own Bryce 7.1 Pro model, linked for full posing, and textured in preset Bryce materials.Vines and Bromeliads are from Daz3D(vines from Jungle Vines set,Bromeliads from Tropicals 2 set, both by Lisa's Botanicals)...imported via DazStudio. Vine textures are my own, with two photos from CGTextures used and tweaked in the Material Editor. Sky,light and atmo are custom...sky used as IBL with sun enabled. A radial light adds extra reflected light to the scene. Rendered in Premium with DOF settings.Postwork consisted of a slight levels adjustment, signature and resizing. Thanks for taking the time to view, and for any comments!

Great droid, the light can almost be felt burning through the fog, well done.

This is what compositional excellence looks like: your graceful creature, the Fibonacci arc of vine, all beautifully illuminated, expressed in a composition governed by the ratios and geometric relationships which evoke in the viewers eye and mind the perspectives we find in the natural world. Beautifully done my friend. 5+!

I like this macro view of a micro world! The POV really enhances the entire render. Cute little alien probe.
