Description
This one started out as an exercise in photorealism; at which I must say I failed miserably.
I've been spending a lot of time try new lighting techniques, and even Reality for Pose, but nothing is working for me yet.
I will keep trying, and if anyone has any feed back as to how I might get a more detailed skin and clothing tones and mats please feel free to make suggestions.
Thanks for viewing.

Photo realism is over-rated...if we could all do that, we wouldn't need cameras. The puppy is SOOOO ADORABLE...!!

Looking real good!! The lighting is much better than the original. It all "fits" together very well, if the figure's skin were much more realistic, it would begin to look a little off. Just keep working at it, use what you learn on one image to make the next one better. 3D looks easy - but it really isn't and it takes time to learn everything you need to - remember the big studios have specialists for every part, surfacing, lighting, modeling, animation, etc. You have to learn to do it all yourself..

Amazing scene, but no idea about Reality I bought and let under my left elbow at the moment (not enough time to try it)

that is great you are trying, actually everything except for the dog is very realistic in terms of lighting and realism of objects... you did well. it is actually some characters are hard to get it realistic better than others...the dog is a challenge to get it realistic from what I have tried in the past......I would have helped you get advice but I am mostly into Vue application than poser...

Lovely scene and image !!!

An Exceptionally Fantastic Render,
Xfitz
Actually it is very real looking except for the puppy. One trick is to slightly blur the dog using a shallow DOF focused on her foot. Nice render even as is.

Great scene work .. realism can be problematic with any software, but you are on the right track.

This is such a cute and wonderful scene my friend, excellent work love it.

Very nice legs!! I like this image a lot.

Oh that is sweet, nice work

Charming scene! I think realism gets down to lighting and textures. Always use the best textures you can to start with, then you can concentrate on your lighting. The puppy is really tough, even in Vue it's hard to achieve any realism. Good job!
