Description

Helophilus pendulus on waterside vegetation at my little pond. I know it's not sharp, but it was windy and it is just the centre fifth of a much wider image. I just like the pattern they make. However, a better photo of the side view can be seen Here

So that's how they do it! I've always wondered about the positions these blighters take in their effort to reproduce more of their own kind. Really awesome focus, colors, patterns and textures in this "adults only" macro, A.

Oh, sweet mystery of life at last I've found you. I love this but I like the other one a bit better just for the details. If this keeps up, however, they are going to re-classify your gallery as a pornographic website.
