Description

Greetings and salutations to all of you creative artists. Let’s clear up some points: Yellow Jacket is a US English term for a wasp of this nature. Since other countries may or not use this US designation I chose to use the term wasp. Secondly, in my experience, organisms who do not perceive you as a threat usually do not attack. I do not recommend getting this close to wasps especially if you have a bee sting allergy. Last wasps have a bad reputation and there are some who perceive everything as a threat (white faced paper wasps come to mind – ouch!). Wasps are the good guys; they eat many of what we would consider harmful insects. So try and have a liaise faire attitude. Next, I need to hear a big AWWWWWW, as I woke this morning with a vampire, swollen eye (although it does highlight my baby blue iris). According to the ER MD I have blown the blood vessels in that eye and may have a small retinal tear – off to the ophthalmologist tomorrow. Wish me luck, as I don’t want to be a one eyed artist(?) or tennis player(?). Thus the bizarre illustration as how my left eye feels! Thanks for all the kind comments.

Good luck with your eyes, there is nothing more terrifying for an artist then when our eyes are injured. I wish you the the very best.

I sincerely hope that your eye can be saved. someone I use to know went to bed like normal, but when she woke up she was blind in one eye yellow jackets here are very territorial when they perceive anything a threat to their nest they do kill many other pests, but I do not allow any wasps to have nests around my house. I do not want to bitten nor my dogs

This is marvelous! Very creative for a one-eyed artist. Hope the doctor's visit goes well and FOLLOW HIS INSTRUCTIONS! If he says "Stay off the computer for a few days," then unplug the thing and don't worry about posting or commenting until you're given the okay. I prefer you with BOTH eyes. Grandma has spoken.
