After their initial meeting the four decided to get cleaned up and meet later in the lab. Later the four once more joined each other to discuss what was going on. Just as Mira entered the room,
Did you see them, Val yelped and jumped.
See what?, Belinda said.
There were two people standing there talking!, I started to say something but became enraptured with them, then they appeared to come to an agreement and both turned and disappeared!, I was then able to say something!, Val exclaimed
Well there isn't anything there now, ghosts maybe?, Mira asked.
Ghost, spirits, and demons are here, though they have never came inside the city before. So could it be something else, maybe dimensional., Belinda offered.
Been there, done that, but refused the tee shirt! Ontar said. Totally disliked the feeling. Ghost that are not ghost, it certainly can be dimensional or just out of time, in both instances I could see the other people but could not inter act, they were like ghost to me. I guess they might have thought the same of me, if they saw me at all. The other time was when I became out of sync with time, I was always 24 hours behind what happened, I basically was watching a moving movie, I could watch people going about their daily routine and if I wanted a change all I had to do was walk a block or mile over and have a new scene to watch. Your father and uncle got me out of that one. So there is a chance that Val actually saw two people there.
Then could we be under or in a dimensional thing? Mira asked. Walking toward Belinda and the computer.
Already ahead of you sis, got it searching just for experiments, Belinda said, and here we are!
Two experiments on dimensions where on the table, one just in the beginning stages, no prototype yet, the other is by, Tornak, on an a plan for emergency moving the city during trouble by means of a dimensional shift! There is a working prototype ready for full testing!
Oh shit!, You are kidding right, say you are kidding!, Ontar exclaimed and dropped into a chair. That was why Tornak was so friendly with me, he used me in his damn experiments without my knowledge! Cause it was him who got me out of that dimensional event and him and your father on the other one! I wonder what went wrong with it, that is if they did try it.
There is no log entry of it being used. Something like this would have had a city wide announcement that an experiment was going to be tested. Especially a live test to move the city!, Mira said.
Maybe we are jumping to soon on the obvious, Val said. I mean it almost answers our question! But, what if they didn't test it yet and it was something else entirely.
Too true, too true!, Mira agreed, that leaves us almost back to square one. It is getting late, so why don't we rest tonight and go to the where the prototype is in the morning.
