Description

The only house in Dales Lane, on our walk at Throop water meadows. A great place to live in summer and daylight, and if you are young and fit, not so good on winter nights maybe, if you live alone and are old.

And that's not to say a place that it is probably haunted also. No way would I inhabit that structure, deep in the moors, especially at night.

I'll take that house any day , no noisy neighbours.

A house that size, you wouldn't have to live alone. You could probably house an army in there. Nice old house in a lovely setting.

Such a tradeoff, isn't it? We're in South Dakota now visiting my cousin. Fortunately she has a house in town where we can park the motorhome, because she and her guy live on a ranch 30 miles out of town on a dirt road. It's an undeniably beautiful place ... absolutely spectacular landscape ... but holy cow, it's out in the middle of nowhere! I can see the attraction, but I don't think I could live with that sort of choice.
