Description

Nobody here yet... I was doing a set of images about some young women going to a tavern. I did some test renders of the tavern itself before adding the people. I really liked what I was seeing and thought that the room would make a cool picture all by itself. This is one of the good things about LuxRender: It brought some new life into a set of vintage (wink) props from 2006. There were still some sparklies to contend with that were simply not going away, but I think I got rid of a lot of them after the fact. I know that the "lens flare" effect is pretty hokey but this seemed like one of those times where it was appropriate. Stay tuned... Next time, the joint is jumpin'!!

Wow! Great work. If I hadn't noticed that you did this in DAZ, I would have thought you took a photo. Excellent work

This really did come out nice! The glass must have burned some electrons to render!

Yes, all those glasses did contribute to my electric bill, but the real problem area, believe it or not, was the near-right corner of the countertop. For some reason it looked like it had "dandruff"! I had to retouch that a bit.

Oh, my! Faemike55 stole my line - great photo! Hope you survive your next electric bill. Or, you could invite me over to eat the bill collector! Now, I'm going to have to learn DAZ Studio AND LuxRender. I'm SO used to Poser 5 it will be a bit of a hurdle. Great job with this image - looking foreward to the sequel. Now, if only my 10 year old computer could wise up to 3 Gb RAM so I could try something like this. :-)

WOW! Very realistic my friend. The tavern light is quite effective at making the environment.
