Description
A view of Reading Bridge House.
This was the first tall building built in Reading. Erected in 1968 and still in use.
A couple of buildings are now taller but this one still has a certain something about it.
A near neighbour, built almost ten years later, was considerably taller but has since been demolished to make way for the newest headquarters of Thames Water Utilities (just visible between the building and trees on the right).
I have photographed this building many times over the years but this is the first one I've really liked.

I was in my first year of college in 68. That was a good year. Excellent shot and information. Makes me want to explore these places.
