Old tack for horses, mules and cattle found in the barn at an estate sale. The musty smell of old leather pervaded the room. All the knots in the leatherwork were hand tied. In my opinion, that leatherwork is a piece of artwork worthy of any artisan.
There was NO enhancement or cropping of this image. Picture was taken in "available darkness." I had my back against the opposite wall. Reduction of resolution for size requirements only.
Full size view will give a much better appreciation of the detail in the leatherwork. All those ribs you see are actually hand tied knots.
