Description

I hinted on FB at something a bit more 2001 Space Odyssey last week..so here are the first development renders as I modeled the project. An interior made up of three duplicated sections that has either a vertical or horizontal rotated body pod, and an end section, plus a camera extension section large enough for one to add their own existing assets. While not rendered, there is actually a holding pool and mechanics below deck on all three sections. I have placed figures in the rendered scenes just for lighting tests and to provide ideas for those who really want to get into what might go into these. Along the back wall there is also 3 small tanks in each section for holding small alien life. With 34 lights, this is a large model...but in sections, the user can eliminate sections where system needs require. The two renders here took about 3 hrs each at 2600 dpi wide. There are three light panels which I have turned off in the render. Originally I tried to use only light panels to achieve the look I wanted but the noise was too much for my liking and while I have no problem doing renders that take a week, did not want to set this asset up that required others to do such efforts. The 5th picture here shows what was attempted.... I may go back to this to create my own final canvas work. With all the glass in this model, I will not be making a Poser version. Vue version does to store this weekend.

Thanks for the comment. Appreciate when people look back at what has been done. This image was an initial render as I built up the model and outfitted it with droids, crew and the bodies in the glass chambers. A Vue model, while interesting, it was not a big seller probably due to the complexity. This was the final render.
