Description


This started as playing with the dispersed refraction effect in Luxus for Carrara, and ended up looking like a very famous album cover. So I am posting it as a tribute to artist Storm Thorgerson who sadly died last month. There is only one ray of white light hitting the prism, from the left. All of the other rays are as a result of reflection and refraction, internally and externally, in the glass prism. Note that physically correct light bends the opposite way to how it is depicted on the Dark Side cover! Thanks for looking. Phil
