The 'Great War', the war to end all wars. How naïve. Young men have always died to feed the egos of old men. As Pete Seeger once wrote, "When will they ever learn?" An excellent and very moving image.

And still the Wars go on, and people die for the ambitions of sick old men who cannot let hold of the past. How many who died in both world wars would say they were worth the sacrifice just to gain the world we now have? I knew a few who thought their sacrifice was in vain.
