Description

We only had one elephant sighting last weekend in Thornybush Game Reserve but it was marvelous. It was a rather sizeable breeding herd with a lot of young. These two girls are approximately 2 - 3 years old. Unfortunately they were in deep shadows making photographing them a little challenging. They did entertain us for the longest of time. We could literally reach out and touch them but of course didn't do it. Thank you for visiting and for your very welcome comment and favs on my last upload "Feeding Time."

What an adventure!! I did save up to go on a safari holiday but travel is too difficult what with dogs and lodgers. Superb photo!

When I saw the title I thought I was going to see an image of your grandchildren. These two don't look anything like them. Lucky you to see a herd with young. All I ever saw was the one lone male. Marvelous image. They seem quite content.
