Description
My goal was to create a photo realistic looking snapshot, as if the it was taken with a point and shoot camera. (There is an artist on RR whose work I admire, BVONE, who is a master at this style whom I was attempting to emulate.) I had a lot of trouble with my computer and the Lux Render engine - not sure if it was due to upgrading to DAX 4.6 - but after several computer crashes I decided to go with a render that was not intended as my final render, but I need to move and so for better or worse I decided to post this image now. This is my first venture into rendering glass. I could not figure out how to make it so I could see thru the wine (opacity levels had no effect) and her bikini has many "sparkly fireflies" which I could not diminish even after reducing specular settings. Anyone who knows how to overcome these obstacles, feel free to contact me with your suggestions.
The wine glass is from WINE ME over at DAZ.

Wow, Im in total shock right now! I havent been on in awhile, so I'm browsing the galleries and I see this image and the first thing I think is " wow, that's a realistic looking render, it looks like you could reach out and touch the magazine." Then I saw your comments.... I'm so flattered that anyone thinks that about my work, THANK YOU ! I have used others work to inspire me as well. And I'll be honest, I will be using this render to do so. Very cool scene. Great natural posing, great lighting. Keep em coming !
